Spareribs are considered to be more meaty and succulent than baby back ribs. They are cut from the bottom section of the ribs and breastbone of the pig, just above the belly (baby back ribs are from the top of the rib area along the back.) The slabs weigh between 2 and 5 pounds. Spare ribs can be grilled, smoked, or baked.
Our pigs at Pullen Family Farms are hand-fed and cared for by us. We take pride in the pigs we raise and we regularly show them in local and state-level livestock shows. They are specially cared for and raised specifically for quality meat. Our pork is processed at Fischer's Meat Market and is USDA inspected.
